The harness comprises a collar (10), a lead (34) and a fastener (46) which are connectable into one non-separable unit. The collar and lead have reinforcement inserts (38) and are connectable by a closable fixing member. The reinforcement eyelet of the collar can have an eyelet for snap-fixing the fastener attached to the lead. The inserts can be made of metal or metal alloy sandwiched between two layers of the collar and lead.
