Fixed yoke brake with housing over brake disc, and two brake linings

The two brake linings (6) consist of a friction lining (7) and rear plate (8) positioned in a radially outwardly open shaft (3) in the brake housing (1). The brake linings are pressed by a hydraulic control (2) directly against the brake disc. Axially protruding protuberances on the brake housing define the shaft in a peripheral direction and support the linings in a peripheral direction. In order to reduce braking noises on the brake housing and or brake linings, the rigidity of the material is reduced so as to form part-systems on the fixed yoke brake with dampened oscillations.
