Packagings (or boxes) and refrigerated cabinets containing same for the transport, storage and point-of-sale display of perishable products, e.g. foods, pharmaceuticals such as vaccines, veterinary products or photographic materials such as films, are disclosed. The packaging for perishable products is essentially made of paper, cardboard or plastic and comprises an air inlet (12), an air outlet (13), an air circulation duct or guide (17, 18), and a mechanical linkage to an air ventilation unit (2). The air inlet and the air outlet are provided in one or more side surfaces (14, 20, 22, 44, 45, 46, 47) or top surfaces (15, 58) of the packaging.
