The method involves filling the cavity (18) around the outer circumference of the sections during tunnelling. The filling material is delivered under pressure to holes which are arranged around each pipe section, so that the injected material is distributed evenly around the entire pipe circumference. Pipe components (19) with holes (20) which are distributed in the circumferential direction, may be arranged at specific intervals between adjacent pipe sections. The holes on each component may be connected by distribution tubes (21) and a magnetic valve (29), to a supply pipe (23) for the filling material.
