Camera, especially for use with film cassettes with closure seals

The camera has a chamber which accepts a film cassette, and which is arranged in a housing. The cassette holds a strip of light-sensitive film, which can pass through an aperture in the cassette. A sealing element can be moved between a position in which the cassette aperture is open, and a closed position in which it forms a light-tight seal of this aperture. The camera also has equipment for transporting the film. The housing has moving drive equipment (60) for adjusting the element between the open and closed positions. It also has a locking device (67,70) in order to block the film transport equipment, when the element is in its closed position.
