A non-chromium-used low reflectance film-carrying substrate having in a visible light region a minimum reflectance of not more than 0.5 % and an optical density of not less than 4, provided on a transparent glass substrate with a film formed by sputtering, and useful for a black matrix for a color filter substrate for liquid crystal panels.
