<p>Disclosed are compounds (1) and (2), and derivatives and analogs thereof, which are agonists for the D1 dopamine receptor. These compounds can be used to treat an individual with Parkinson's disease. Also disclosed are monohydroxy analogs of compounds (1) and (2), and derivatives and analogs thereof, which are partial D1 agonists or antagonists. These compounds can be used to treat an individual who abuses cocaine.</p> |
