A drying carrier adapted for carrying honeycomb-structures (3) includes a plurality of perforated plates (10) spaced to each other in the longitudinal direction of the drying carrier (1) and made of a material e.g. metal, having a conductivity higher than that of the rest of the drying carrier. Each of said perforated plates (10) is provided with a convex portion (11) having an upper contacting surface of the honeycomb structure (3) to be carried. The surface area (A) of the upper contacting surface of the convex portion is smaller than the bottom surface area of the honeycomb-structure.
