PURPOSE:To quickly schedule medical treatment by allowing a picture storage device to retrieve a comparing picture for inspecting the validity/invalidity of a simulation picture based upon the input information of a photographing condition for a picture to be photographed. CONSTITUTION:The picture storage device stores a data base constituted of the following procedure. Respective picture information in which headers H1 to Hn are annexed to respective pictures I1 to In are read out. Namely respective headers H1 to Hn express information consisting of pacient names, disease names, photographing conditions, etc., for corresponding pictures I1 to In. Only information corresponding to the headers H1 to Hn is separated from respective picture information and collected only for one photographing series. Then the contents of information of the headers H1 to Hn are decomposed to information common to the series, information common to acquisition and information inherent in a slice and hierarchically collected as respective headers. Finally a series header is stored in a series table together with respective IDs. |
