A display system is provided for use in cutlery displays. The display system includes a depiction of spatially arranged cutlery items on a planar surface. Th is depiction is an enlarged, high-resolution, color photograph of an actual cutlery display. This d epiction removably inserts into a frame to facilitate installation, maintenance, and qual ity of the display. Therefore, when the depiction is viewed by a potential buyer of the cutlery an a ccurate, detailed, realistic representation of the cutlery items will be seen. Upon selec tion of a particular cutlery item from the depiction, the actual item may obtained from the inventory storage cabinet.
