摘要

PURPOSE:To improve the solvent resistance of a photosensitive layer by subjecting a printing plate obtd. by exposing and developing process to projection of active rays including UV rays of a specific wavelength or below. CONSTITUTION:The waterless planographic printing plate is formed by laminating a photosensitive layer contg. an orthoquinone diazide compd. and an ink repellent layer successively on a substrate. The planographic printing plate formed in the above-mentioned manner is subjected to the exposing and developing processes. The UV rays of <=350mm wavelength are then projected to the printing surface of such printing plate. The effect of the UV projection is higher as the UV rays of the above-mentioned wavelength range arrives in the larger quantity at the surface of the printing plate. The solvent resistance of the printing plate is effectively and surely prevented in the shorter time and the exfoliation and dislodgement of the Si rubber layer of the non-printing image part is prevented.
