PURPOSE:To enable a person on an assistant driver's seat to perform location correcting operation even during a drive without giving detailed information to a driver. CONSTITUTION:A liquid crystal filter 3 is installed on a CRT 2 to display a map of only main roads on the CRT 2 unless the display position of this vehicle is corrected with a location correction switch 23 in the drive state of this vehicle or a detailed map of the main roads and back roads on the CRT 2 when the location is corrected with the location correction switch 23 in the travel state of this vehicle; and a voltage which is higher than a threshold value is applied to the liquid crystal filter 3 to decrease the transmissivity in the driver's direction. |
