PURPOSE:To provide the toner which has high image densities and excellent fine line reproducibility and highlight gradation characteristic and obviates the change in performance even after long-term use by incorporating a specific titanium oxide into each one of additives. CONSTITUTION:Each one of the additives is the spherical titanium oxide having 0.05 to 2.0 mum volume average grain size and the toner contains this oxide at 0.03 to 3 wt.% by the weight of coloring agent-contg. resin particles. The volume average grain size of the nonmagnetic color toner is specified to 6.0 to 10.0 mum. This toner contains 15 to 40 piece % toner particle having <=5.0 mum grain size, 0.1 to 5.0 vol.% toner particle having 12.7 to 16.0 mum grain size and <=1.0 vol.% toner particle having >=16.0 mum grain size. Further, the toner particles sized 6.35 to 10.1 mum have the grain size distribution satisfying equation I. In the equation I, V denotes vol.% of the toner particles having 6.35 to 10.1 mum grain size; N denotes the piece % of the toner particles of 6.35 to 10.1 mum grain size; the inverse of dv denotes the average volume diameter of the entire toner particle. High-quality images are stably supplied over a long period of time in any environment in this way. |
