An image data processor has an image data memory to which a plurality of image data constituting images are stored. The image data stored in the image data memory is identified and directions of images are recognized. The image data processor further has an operating portion to set image directions at output of image data. The rotation of image data is controlled so that the direction of images are made uniform based on the recognized image directions and output in the direction of images set by the operating portion, and the controlled image data is outputted from the image data processor. <IMAGE>
