PURPOSE:To eliminate excessive electric power consumption in a fixing apparatus and damage of parts in the fixing apparatus due to excessive heat by selecting heater control time in a first memory with data in a second memory to designated the time, and controlling the heater in the fixing apparatus with the heater control time. CONSTITUTION:Data in a second memory 2 are set by repeating push down of a button switch 5. In this case, there is a means reading out data set in the second memory 2, and a flasher unit 4 indicates read out data with flashing frequency. An operator looks at flashing frequency of this flasher unit 4 to know the data memorized presently and changes the data in accordance with necessity. A heater control time in a first memory 1 is selected by the data in the second memory 2 to designate the time, and the heater in the fixing apparatus is controlled by the heater control time. There is no waste electric power consumption, and it is gone to be damaged parts by heat generated in the fixing apparatus thereby. |
