PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote terminal emulator(RTE) by which almost all lapsed time is classified and reported at the emulated time of using the computer system to be tested. SOLUTION: The time required by a computer system to be tested to respond to a command signal transmitted by the RTE is recorded as reception time, and measured from the end of command signal transmission to the recognition of a pattern, which is designated by the RTE, showing the end of response from the computer system being test object. As a result, the recorded reception time is reflected in the time required by the computer system being test object to process/execute the command transmitted by the RTE (a) and to transmit response data to the RTE (b). |
