RANGE HOOD WITH DEODORIZING FUNCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a range hood easy in handling and having excellent deodorizing function over a long period. SOLUTION: The range hood is for sucking air containing malodorous components from a suction port 1 provided above a cooking utensil 7, introducing the air into an air passage 2 and discharging to outdoor from an air discharging port 3 and is provided with a filter 4 having a titanium oxide made net and an ultraviolet lamp 5 for irradiating the fiber 4 in the air passage 2. By the structure, titanium oxide activated by the ultraviolet ray from the ultraviolet lamp 5 oxidative destructs the malodorous components in the sucked air to deodorize.
