PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the shielding and to prevent the raising of spatter by injecting assist gas on the same axis with laser beam while applying air curtain. SOLUTION: In a laser beam machining head 1, the laser beam LB condensed with a condenser lens 5 provided in the inner part of a laser beam machining head body 3 irradiates a work W to be machined from a laser beam nozzle 7 provided at the tip part of this head and also, the assist gas is injected into the same axis as the laser beam LB to execute the laser beam machine to the work W. Further, a protecting lens 9 is arranged in the inner part in the interval between the condenser lens 5 and the laser beam nozzle 7, and an air blowing nozzle device 11 for projecting the protecting lens 9 with the air curtain is arranged to the laser beam machining head body 3. Further, an air curtain cover 25 is removably arranged to the laser beam machining head body 3 mutually faced to the air blowing nozzle device 11. |
