摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent discharge in an inlet of a transfer position caused by a transfer electric field, and improve remarkable transfer failure caused at monochrome printing time and superimposed printing time by energizing a transfer part toward the oblique downward side to the printing station side. SOLUTION: An energizing member 24 such as a spring to energize it in the direction for forming an acute angleα(0 deg.<=α<=90 deg.) with this reference line with a straight line passing through its center and the center of a photosensitive drum 3 as a reference, is arranged on a transfer roller shaft 9a. This energizing member 24 is arranged one by one on both sides in the lengthwise direction of respective transfer rollers 9, and a prescribed load, for example, about 1.5kg is applied to the respective transfer rollers 9. At printing time, a transfer part is pushed toward the oblique downstream against the printing station side by the energizing member 24, and a nip quantity of a transfer part surface on the upstream reduces more than the downstream, and a distance between an electrostatic latent image holding body and the transfer part in the upstream is widened. Therefore, discharge generated between the electrostatic latent image holding body and the transfer part in the upstream can be prevented.
