PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire information without knowing a necessary key word by retrieving a similar meaning model and estimating another retrieval key word. SOLUTION: A product structure model generation part 21 defines the three- dimensional structure of a product in advance together with the names, materials, and characteristics of its parts and registers them as a product structure model 1. When a key word is specified at a key word input part 12 at the time of data base retrieval or registration, a key word specification part 12 retrieves names, conditions, materials, process names, and functions by manufacture processes from the product structure model 1 according to the key word and estimates another key word on the basis of the proximity and functional relativity of a matching physical position. With this retrieval key word, a similar meaning model is retrieved to estimate similar key words of the names, materials, and characteristics of the respective parts of a defective and a product. A data retrieval part 13 performs retrieval from a database 3 according to the inputted retrieval key word and estimated key words and a data output part 14 outputs matching instance data. |
