PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus converting electron beam to X-rays high in water permeability and irradiating fouling organisms in water with X-rays from the outside of piping. SOLUTION: In an apparatus preventing the interior of piping from being fouled with organisms, an electron accelerator 4, a beam transport pipe, a barrier wall, an irradiation part, a scanning coil and an X-ray converting target 6 are provided. The electron beam 5 generated by the electron accelerator 4 is transported to the irradiation part in the barrier wall arranged in order to prevent the leak of X-rays to the periphery and expanded in its diffusion angle by the scanning coil to be incident on the X-ray converting target 6 integrated with the piping 3. The X-ray converting target 6 converts electron beam 5 to X-rays and fouling organisms in the piping 3 are irradiated with X-rays to prevent the fouling with organisms. |
