<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the repulsive property of a solid core or center pole and to increase the carry of a golf ball by compounding a weight control agent which is optimized in its sp.gr. and average particle size into a rubber compsn. constituting the solid core or the center pole. SOLUTION: The center ball of the solid core or thread winding core of the golf ball formed by coating the solid core or the thread winding core with a cover is formed of a vulcanized molding formed by vulcanizing a rubber compsn. compounded with >=10 pts.wt. weight control agent having an average grain size of 30 to 1000μm and sp.gr. of >=4 with 100 pts.wt. base material rubber.</p> |
