PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal deflection circuit equipped with a horizontal linearity distortion correction circuit to be used for a miniaturized electronic view finder, etc., with 16:9/4:3 mode switching function by connecting a variable resistor for horizontal linearity distortion correction serially with an S-shaped correction capacitor. SOLUTION: In the conventional horizontal deflection circuit composed of a horizontal output circuit part A and an S-shaped correction switching circuit part B, a variable resistor 10 for horizontal linearity distortion correction is connected serially with an S-shaped correction capacitor 6. In this horizontal deflection circuit, at 16:9 (wide) time, a controller 9 outputs a Low signal, an FET 8 is turned off, and the S-shaped correction capacitor 6 and the variable resistor 10 for horizontal linearity distortion correction are conducted. Then, by adjusting the variable resistor 10 for horizontal linearity distortion correction, the waveform of a horizontally deflected current flowing to a horizontal deflection coil 4 is changed and horizontal linearity distortion is corrected. |
