PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a photographer to set the movable range of a focusing lens group by selecting whether the driving range of the focusing lens group is between 1st and 2nd points or all over the movable range. SOLUTION: In the case the photographer wants to set the inside of the set range as a focusing feasible range in autofocusing, he (she) sets a selection switch to a position 1. At such a time, an arithmetic circuit calculates the rotating direction and the rotational amount of a pulse plate 25 so that the lens group may be driven between the 1st and the 2nd points stored in a memory according to a signal from a CPU. In the case the selection switch is set to a position 2, the focusing lens group 2 is driven all over the driving feasible range to perform autofocusing photographing in a state where the 1st and the 2nd points are still stored in a memory circuit. In the case the photographer operates a manual ring 21 so as to perform photographing, the lens group 2 is moved to attain focusing in the state where the 1st and the 2nd points are still stored in the memory circuit. |
