PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to secure adequate exposure heat resistance in illumination exposure by adding a water dispersion carbon black ink for a light/heat conversion layer obtained by dispersing carbon black in a water-soluble acrylic polymer to a light/heat conversion layer. SOLUTION: In this recording material consisting of at least a light/heat conversion layer and an ink layer laminated in this order on a support, a water dispersion carbon black ink for a light/heat conversion layer obtained by dispersing carbon black into a water-soluble acrylic polymer is added as a light/heat converting substance. In addition, a dispersing agent for dispersing the carbon black into water contains at least 90wt.% of a water-soluble acrylic polymer for 100wt.% of the total dispersing agent amount. The water-soluble acrylic polymer is polyacrylic acid. Besides, it is preferable to form a cushioning layer between the light/heat conversion layer and the support and also form a back cost layer on an opposite face to the light/heat conversion side of the support. |
