PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiving device which can improve its noise resistance for reception of the spectrum diffusion signal. SOLUTION: A correlation calculation part 3 calculates the correlation between the diffusion signal (obtained by modulating a PN code by an information signal) that is received at a receiving part 1 and then demodulated and a PN code that is equal to the PN code generated at a PN code generation part 4 and used to the diffusion signal. Then the part 3 outputs its calculation result to a data demodulation part 5 and a synchronizing signal generation part 6 as the correlation signals. The part 6 generates a synchronizing signal synchronously with a prescribed peak of the correlation signal and outputs the synchronizing signal to the part 5. The part 5 varies the threshold to detect the peak of the correlation signal supplied from the part 3 in response to the synchronizing signal. Then the part 5 compares the threshold with the correlation signal to demodulate the original information signal. |
