PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate a steady operation within a transmission gear ratio and realize a low fuel expense and a low emission by a method wherein the transmission gear ratio of an infinite transmission gear is controlled and the revolution of an internal combustion engine is controlled to be constant even if a car speed fluctuates and the torque of a motor is controlled and the torque of the internal combustion engine is controlled to be constant even if a driving force fluctuates. SOLUTION: In a region in which a car speed is not less than a certain value, i.e., a region in which the output of an internal combustion engine 1 and the output of a motor 2 are transmitted to driving wheels 8, the transmission gear ratio of an infinite transmission gear 3 is controlled against a fluctuating car speed by an ECU 4 to control the revolution of an internal combustion engine 1 to be constant. Further, the torque of the motor 2 is controlled against a fluctuating driving force by the ECU 4 to control the torque of the internal combustion engine 1 to be constant. With this constitution, if the torque of the internal combustion engine 1 is controlled and the torque of the motor 2 is so controlled as to be the difference between the torque of a load and the torque of the internal combustion engine 1, the torque of the internal combustion engine 1 can be constant even if the load torque fluctuates, so that a low fuel expense and a low emission can be realized. |
