<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitor system with which an input operation for specifying a monitor object is simplified, the retrievability of data is improved, and further, image data to be transmitted can be easily handled. SOLUTION: While installing light emittrs/light receivers 13 and 2 respectively for transmitting and receiving infrared signals to a portable terminal 1 and a job site panel 4 of the monitor object, an ID request signal composed of infrared light is transmitted from the light emitter/receiver 13 on the side of the portable terminal 1 to the side of the job site panel 4 and, corresponding to this signal, an ID signal composed of infrared light is transmitted from the light emitter/receiver 2 on the side of the job site panel 4 to the portable terminal 1. Next, the portable terminal 1 calls monitor information corresponding to the above ID by retrieving a data base 35 at another terminal 3 through an LAN 8 and displays the information on a display part 12.</p> |
