<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink-jet recording liquid having excellent dispesibility and ejection stability. SOLUTION: The objective ink-jet recording liquid is produced by dispersing a colorant in a water-based liquid. The colorant is a pigment produced by dissolving an organic pigment in sulfuric acid, pouring the solution into water and treating the precipitated fine powder in a 1-5C lower alcohol in the presence of a pigment-dispersing agent at 40-200 deg.C. The pigment-dispersing agent is at last one kind of compound expressed by the following formula I, formula II or formula III. Formula I: P-[X-(CH2 )n -N(R<1> )R<2> ]m , formula II: P-[X-(CH2 )n -Y]m , formula III: P-(SO3 H)m (P is an organic colorant residue or a heterocyclic group residue; X is SO2 NH or CONH; Y is SO3 H or COOH; R<1> and R<2> are each independently an alkyl or together form a heterocyclic group; (n) is an integer of 1-6; (m) is an integer of 1-3).</p> |
