PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an entertainment system to be executed by a software incorporated into a computer. SOLUTION: An electronic television equipment circuit 1, AM/FM receiver 4, CD-ROM drive 8 and miniaturized 8mm video cassette recorder(VCR) 7 are incorporated into a notebook computer. A graphical user interface is applied by the software to be run on this notebook computer. Since an icon simulating control found on the conventional television, VCR or CD-ROM drive is used for this interface, a user can perform the tuning of different channel, the control of sound volume, luminance and contrast or reproduction, stop/eject, fast forwarding, pausing and rewinding by using a key stroke, mouse or track point. |
