PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate routing control by changing the input / output relation of connection means in prescribed order and performing signal read from an input buffer synchronously with that change corresponding to an output terminal to which the input buffer is connected. SOLUTION: A wavelength control part 173 injects a current to the respective wavelength variable control terminals of wavelength variable optical transmitters 121-128 and performs control so as to transmit the optical signal of any arbitrary wavelength. An address is read out of a buffer control part 172 and outputted to respective buffers 111-118. When the address is an address for reading a packet in a storage area corresponding to an output terminal OUT1, a previously inputted packet is read out of the buffer 112 but since the read addresses of the other buffers are addresses except the output terminal OUT1, the previously inputted packet is not read out. The packet read out of the buffer 112 is converted into the optical signal and transmitted by the optical transmitter 122 set to the specified wavelength. |
