PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent LED lighting system capable of attaining illumination having sufficient luminance and high homogeneity on a lighting display section having a wide lighting area with LEDs as few as possible. SOLUTION: A recess 3 is provided at the center section of the lighting surface 2 of a light guide body 1, and the bottom face of the recess 3 is formed with an inclined reflecting surface 4. LEDs 6 are stored in an LED storage hole 11 formed at a part of the outer peripheral section of the light guide body 1. The LED storage hole 11 is provided with an insertion port 12 having a circular cross section on the outer periphery side and a light guide port 13 penetrating the upper and lower faces of the light guide body 1 and having a D-shaped cross section on the recess side. A prism sheet 14 is arranged on the side wall face formed on the recess 3 side of the light guide port 13 and having a circular arc-shaped cross section. The prism sheet 14 is arranged so that the direction of a prism is made perpendicular to the axes of the LEDs 6. An LCD 8 having a lighting range 20 of a fixed size is arranged on the lighting surface 2 of the light guide body 1 via a diffusing plate 7. |
