<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector which is suitable for a rust-prevention and increased in its degree of sealing by a method wherein a connected short length pipe is provided with a flange part fitted to a recess stepped part of a flange, an outer circumference of the connected short length pipe is covered by aluminum and further its hollow part is provided with a pipe outer diameter part made of an aluminum covering synthetic resin. SOLUTION: A flange connector 1 is comprised of a connected short length pipe 3 made of a synthetic resin rotatably fitted to an opening part 2a of a metallic flange 2. The opening part 2a is provided with, at its connecting surface 2c of a circumferential part, a large diameter recess stepped part which is larger than that of the opening part 2a, and a connected short length pipe 3 is provided with a flange part 3a at one pipe end and at the same time its outer circumference is closely contacted with and covered by an aluminum outer cylinder 5. A position setting recess part is arranged at its circumference near the flange part 3a and then a stopper ring 6 for use in preventing the connected short length pipe 3 from being removed from the opening part 2a is fitted. The flange 2 and the connected short length pipe 3 are integrally formed and they are merely fitted to a pipe end of the pipe and adhered, so that the flange may easily be formed at a working site.</p> |
