<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain toner which can be recycled without reducing a recording speed, at short image forming intervals, with a simple mechanism by incorporating a fine grain having a specific size and consisting essentially of a silicone oxide compound. SOLUTION: The toner incorporates at least a kind of fine grain whose size is 1/10 or less the volume averaged grain size of the toner, as a flowability modifier and the fine grain consists essentially of the silicone oxide compound. The volume resistivity value of the toner is preferably 1×10<10> -3×10<12>Ωcm. In an image forming device, a cleaning means is switched before a region corresponding to the rear end of a toner image formed on an image carrier 1 passes through the cleaning means and the toner remaining after a transfer is electrified to a negative polarity by a precleaning charger 10a and passes through as it is without being recovered to a cleaning roller 10b to which a bias having the negative polarity is applied. At this time, the toner stuck to the cleaning roller 10b is transferred to the image carrier 1.</p> |
