PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the productivity of a large-sized panel and to impart excellent corrosion resistance, spalling resistance or abrasion resistance possessed by prepared unshaped refractories by performing molding by setting the acceleration of a vibrator to a predetermined value or more and applying molding pressure of a predetermined value or more to a press machine at the same time. SOLUTION: A refractory panel with a thickness of 10mm or more and an area of 0.2m<2> or more is produced by performing molding by setting the acceleration of a vibrator 4 to 1.5-6G and applying molding pressure of 100kgf or more at the same time by a press machine 5. By applying the force by the vibration of the vibrator 4 and the pressing force by the press machine 5 as mentioned above, molding can be performed in the presence of reduced moisture and a uniform compsn. generating no separation and having high density and high strength is obtained. Since molding can be performed in the presence of reduced moisture, drying of a post-process becomes easy and fuel cost can be reduced and an excellent molded object generating no steam explosion at a time of heating and temp. rising and capable of being rapidly heated can be obtained. |
