PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a thermosensible recording medium, which has high surface gloss and recording density, and is excellent in sticking resistance. SOLUTION: This method of manufacturing a thermosensible recording medium comprises successively providing on at least one side of a support body a thermosensible recording layer containing a leuco dye, a coloring agent and an adhesives, and a protective layer. In the method, provided on the thermosensible recording medium is the protective layer, in which ultraviolet rays are radiated on an ultraviolet hardenable compound having an epoxy group to harden the compound after a coating liquid for the protective layer, containing the compound and a silicone oil of 0.1 to 5.0weight% relative to the compound is applied on the compound. |
