<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the clogging of a filter and to reduce the soiling of electrodes by, when moving the filter along a guiding route, bringing the filter into contact with the surface of electrodes for dust collection and moving it to the recovery side while cleaning the contact surface. SOLUTION: A filter 4 from a filter feeding roll 40 is pulled out by pinch rollers and a capstan and is taken up by a take-up roll 41 while it meanders between guide rollers and cathodes 33-1-33-4. On the other hand, when high voltage is applied to anodes 32-1-32-4 from a DC power source 5, corona discharge is generated to charge floating dust with electricity, and an ionic wind is generated toward the cathodes 33-1-33-4. Air in a vessel 10 is passed through the filter 4 by the ionic wind to adsorb the dust on the cathodes 33-1-33-4. At that time, the filter 4 is continuously or intermittently moved along the surface of the cathodes 33-1-33-4 to always keep clean the surface of the cathodes.</p> |
