PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyester film excellent in moldability, solvent resistance, staining resistance, heat resistance, decorativeness and surface properties and useful for decorative metallic sheets for e.g. household electric appliances by using a specified copolyester film comprising a dicarboxylic acid component and a diol component. SOLUTION: This film is made from a copolyester having a melting point of 210-245 deg.C and an intrinsic viscosity of 0.52-0.80 and having a surface orientation of 0.120-0.140. A decorative metallic sheet prepared by laminating this film on either surface of a metallic sheet is desirable. A decorative metallic sheet prepared by sandwiching a polyvinyl chloride film between a metallic sheet and a polyester film is more desirable. |
