PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lightweight glass fiber reinforced thermoplastic resin molding which has a surface skin layer by injection molding, high strength and rigidity, surface appearance, and is free from warpage. SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method of a lightweight glass fiber reinforced thermoplastic resin molding by injection molding, the glass fiber content of a molding raw material is 20-80wt.%, and pellets 2-100mm long in which glass fibers are arranged in parallel to each other are used. With a mold opened, a molten resin the volume of which is less than that of the final product is injected, and the mold is closed to a necessary degree to obtain a lightweight molding having voids. |
