PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of setting procedures for a user by selecting color data corresponding to respective plural color editing areas based on the number of color editing areas, the number of pieces of color data stored corresponding to a hue ring and a set reference color. SOLUTION: Two-dimensional addresses corresponding to originals are set to an image memory 144 at an image processing part 14, and image data for each picture element read by a line sensor 13 are stored in the respective addresses. Then, when a user operates a control panel 16 and selects coloring processing, the image data of an original surrounding a coloring processing area with a marker pen are stored in the image memory 144. Continuously, based on the image data stored in the image memory A44, a CPU 167 detects the picture element marked by the marker pen inside the original image. Then, color data corresponding to respective plural color editing areas are selected based on the number of color editing areas, the number of pieces of color data and the set reference color. |
