PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inform of the presence of a pit cover by providing a pit cover substantially flush with a road surface at the upper face on the opening edge section of a pit recessed on the road surface, and providing luminescence sections or light reflection sections visible from the outside of the pit on the pit cover. SOLUTION: U-shaped grooves P serving as pits are recessed at both the right and left side sections of a road surface F, and a metal edge frame material 1 is integrally provided on the opening edge section of each U-shaped groove P to support multiple groove covers C serving as pit covers. The groove cover C is formed with end bars 2E extended along the edge frame material 1, side bars 2S, and main bars 2M into a square frame body called a grating. Slit-like openings 3 are formed between the adjacent main bars 2M and side bars 2S, and the first block B1 made of a synthetic resin is fixed along the openings 3. Light emitting diodes LE as luminescence sections and light reflectors are buried in the first block B1 , and a power feeder ES feeding power to the light emitting diodes LE is formed on the outside of the pit P. They can be also utilized as propaganda and advertisement for passers-by. |
