COVERED CABLE CONNECTOR AND FORMING METHOD OF COVERED CABLE CONNECTING PART

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a covered cable connector to form a joining part of a covered cable and a forming method of a covered cable connecting part. SOLUTION: An electric cable to be connected is composed of a sheath, a covering part and at least two primary wires containing a first primary wire and a second primary wire. This covered cable connector (splice) has a connecting means to electrically connect the covering part, a first electrically connecting means 33 for the first primary wire, a second electrically connecting means 34 for the second primary wire and insulating holding means 37 and 38. The insulating holding means 37 and 38 hold the first and the second electrically connecting means in constant relative positions, and are selected so that impedance characteristic of the splice becomes almost equal to impedance of the cable. By this constitution, this can be applied to wiring or repair of the electric cable.
