<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data collector with which the collection omission of plant data can be suppressed to a minimum. SOLUTION: This device is composed of respective unit computers from 1-1 to 1-n for supervising/controlling plants, plural unit server computers from 2-1 to 2-n connected with the respective unit computers in one-to-one correspondence, abnormality detecting means 5 for detecting any unit server computer which is not normally operated because of any hardware fault or any abnormality on a connection line between one of the unit computers from 1-1 to 1-n, and a common server computer 6 for substituting the processing of the unit server computer detected by the abnormality detecting means 5. In this case, while a certain unit server computer abnormally stops, the common server computer 6 substitutes the plant data collecting processing of this unit server computer and, after the abnormality of the unit server computer is recovered, the collected plant data are transmitted to the recovered unit server computer, thus the collection omission of plant data during abnormality generation can be canceled.</p> |
