RADIATION-CURABLE COATING MATERIAL AND ITS USE FOR PREPARATION OF COATED SUBSTRATE

A radiation-curable lacquer composition comprises: (i) 0-95 parts weight of at least one radiation-curable binder containing maleinate, fumarate and/or acryloyl groups; (ii) 5-100 parts weight of a mixture comprising (A) 20-80 parts weight of at least one fatty acid-modified polyester resin, and (B) 20-80 parts weight of compounds with (meth)acryloyl groups that have a number average molecular weight (Mn) of 170-1000 and viscosity of 10-1000 mPas at 23 degrees C ; and (iii) optional standard processing aids and additives for polyesters. (A) contains at least 20 wt.% fatty acid with an Mn of 112-400. Also claimed are: (i) the use of these compositions for the preparation of coatings; and (ii) lacquers containing these compositions.
