PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a managing device with which an input error hardly occurs and operating time can be shortened as well by displaying only the operating parts required for respective setting operations. SOLUTION: Based on an operation input signal from a touch panel, a CPU block detects the kind of any item and selectively displays this item. When an item 61 corresponding to an upper limit value displayed by the side of the title item of 'summer' is touched, for example, a display frame 62 of this item 61 is switched from fine line to thick line and the selection of the item is indicated. At the same time, the CPU block reads the picture data of an operating part 70 optimum for the item for setting the upper limit value concerning the selected item 61 from a storage part and corresponding to these picture data, the picture of the operating part 70 provided with an optimum key part 71 is displayed at a display section (m) inside the screen of an LCD 10.
