PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the supply and electrostatic charge quantities of toner by allowing a toner supplying roller to contact with a developing roller 4, in a stable state, without rubbing/deforming the toner supplying roller and further, to suppress the slipping down of the toner from the outer periphery of the toner supplying roller to the bottom surface of a hopper. SOLUTION: The toner supplying roller 5 for supplying the toner 6 to the developing roller 4 is made of metal, so that the toner supplying roller 5 is brought into contact with the developing roller 4, in the stable state, without rubbing/deforming the supplying roller 5. Thus, the supply and electrostatic charge quantities of the toner are secured. Since it is easy for the toner 6 to slip down the surface of the metallic supplying roller 5, an angleβformed by a tangent 11 going downward and an extension 9 of a toner guiding surface 8, at the intersection P between the tangent 11 and the extension 9 of the guiding surface 8 on the outer periphery of the supplying roller 5 is set to be an angle of repose or more and the slipping down of the toner 6 on the supplying roller 5 into the gap against the toner guiding surface 8 is suppressed. |
