PURPOSE:To obtain a corrugated board packing folding up method and jig therefore for substituting for polystyrene foam packing by providing fitting partitions and fitting dents for fitting articles to be packed therein to a sheet of corrugated board equipped with creases and slits, and to obtain a jig for fabricating the above-mentioned corrugated board packing. CONSTITUTION:A sheet of corrugated board is fabricated into a shape in which parts for forming external wall faces 2, 3 on the right and the left of a packing are provided, extending from both ends of a rectangular middle part 1, through main creases A, A, and a plurality of slits 7 for raising for forming a plurality of cushioning ribs for contact with the external faces of fitting ends or traverse partitions 6 for fitting partitions are provided, extending over external parts outside both of the main creases and creases 8 for raising, being aslant at an angle of 45 degrees against the main creases, are provided and dent forming parts 4, 5 or partition forming faces are also provided, extending from side edges of the external wall faces. In fabricating the packing, both of the external wall faces are erected, facing each other, and the traverse partitions or the cushioning ribs are erected, being held from both sides with the external wall faces. At the time of the above-mentioned fabrication, the erection can be made without fail by pressing the central parts of the partitions or the ribs toward a jig which is equipped with push-up members. |
