<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a toner free from the defect such as the decrease of an image density caused by the nonuniformity of positive chargeability, the increase of ground fogging or the scattering of the toner and possible to obtain many number of copying material by containing a specific amount of a specific copoly mer resin to an amount of a polyester resin. CONSTITUTION:0.1-20 pts.wt. of copolymer resin containing a polyester resin, a coloring agent and a quaternary ammonium salt and containing a quaternary ammonium base component made from a repeating unit expressed by a formula is contained in 100 pts.wt. of the polyester resin. In the formula, R1 is hydrogen or methyl group, R2 is alkylene group, each of R3-R5 is alkyl group, Ph is phenyl group. The copolymer resin is produced e.g. by copolymerizing styrene and/or substituted styrene with dialkyl-amino alkyl-(meta)-acrylate or the like in the presence of a polymerization initiator and by making the obtained copolymer quaternary with para-toluene methyl sulfonate or the like.</p> |
