PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform an edge emphasis processing adaptive to the level of detection signals based on ultrasonic echos. SOLUTION: In an edge emphasis processing part 10, a level judgement part 11 outputs address signals Q corresponding to the level of the detection signals P based on the ultrasonic echos, a weight output part 12 outputs weights K1 and Ka corresponding to the address signals Q, an edge emphasis circuit 13 executes edge emphasis to the detection signals P and outputs edge emphasis signals EN, and multipliers 14 and 15 and an adder 16 load-add the edge emphasis signals EN to the detection signals and generate sound ray signals G (= K1×EN+Ka×P). Thus, by appropriately setting the weight of load addition, the degree of the edge emphasis is flexibly changed. |
