<p>PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of an output voltage, by a method wherein a resistor is connected in parallel to the field coil of an AC exciter in accordance with the rotating number of a generator. CONSTITUTION:First and second resistors 12, 13, connected to an automatic voltage regulator 4 through a speed relay 10 and a voltage relay 11 respectively, are provided in parallel to the field coil of an AC exciter 3. A speed detecting generator 5, which belongs to the speed relay 10, detects a rotating number and the first resistor 12 is connected by the speed relay 11 when the rotating number has arrived at a predetermined rotating number. The second resistor 13 is connected by the voltage relay 11, detecting the output voltage of the generator, to permit the regulation of the supplying current of the automatic voltage regulator 4 under a rated rotating number. According to this method, an output voltage, high in accuracy, may be obtained.</p> |
